Won a conference championship and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament prior to when the winner of the Midwest Conference earned an automatic bid to the tournament. The Lady Blues’ participation in the NCAA Tournament was the first in the history of Illinois College for either a men’s or a women’s team.
