TJ Esseily Earns MWC Honor

GRINNELL, Iowa – Illinois College's TJ Esseily was named the Midwest Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced today.

Esseily, a senior goalkeeper from Lucerne, Switzerland, posted a shutout in IC's opening match against Illinois Wesleyan. Esseily recorded three saves as he helped the Blueboys to a scoreless draw with the Titans. 

He followed that with a 3-1 win over Westminster, recording a pair of saves in the process.

IC will host Millikin tonight at 5:00 p.m. inside England Stadium.
