Box Score ELSAH, Ill. – The Illinois College men's soccer team suffered its first loss of the season, dropping a 2-0 decision to Principia on Saturday night at the Principia Soccer Field.
IC moved to 1-1-1 in the young season. Tonight was the regular-season opener for the Panthers.

The Panthers took the lead they would never relinquish with a goal 20:59 into the contest, a score that would stand alone for the remainder of the period.
Principia tallied an important insurance goal just 5:19 into the second half to close out the scoring for the evening.
The Blueboys' attack was led by
Kristofer Ruiz, who took five shots (three on goal) for the night.
Joey Hernandez added a pair of his own.
Cooper Ryan Deitch recorded six saves in goal for IC.
