JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College men's soccer team scored two goals in the first 4:40 of the match and used that to post a 4-3 win over Millikin on Tuesday night at England Stadium.
IC improved to 2-1-1 with the victory while Millikin dropped to 0-3-0.

The Blueboys wasted little time getting on the scoreboard as
Adan Leon found the back of the net just 1:25 into the match. IC's
Kristofer Ruiz added to the lead a few minutes later when he scored at 4:40.
The Big Blue answered at the 8:37 mark before
Jives Efemini scored on a feed from
J'aiden Cranwell-Meneses at the 23:32 mark to close out the opening half.
IC again got on the board quickly in the second half as well when
Jake Ruiz tallied off another assist from Cranwell-Meneses at 55:49.
Millikin had one run left as they scored at the 65:58 and 89:12 marks, but that would be the final goal of the evening.
The Blueboys outshot Millikin, 18-10, and were led by
Jake Ruiz,
Kristofer Ruiz, and
Oscar Liogon Arenas, who all had three shots apiece.
TJ Esseily posted three saves in goal for IC.
