GRINNELL, Iowa – Illinois College's
Adam Hernandez has been named the Midwest Conference Men's Track Performer of the Week, the league announced today.
A junior from Pawnee, Ill., Hernandez had a strong all-around meet at the Illinois College Thursday Throwdown last week. He won the 110-meter hurdles in a Midwest Conference-leading time of 14.76 seconds. He also recorded the second-fastest time in the league in the 200 meters (21.97 seconds) while clearing the fourth-highest height in the league (1.80 meters) in the high jump.
IC will be in action again on Saturday when it travels to the Greenville Select Meet at 10:30 a.m.
