JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College women's swimming team closed out the home portion of the 2025-26 season with a 133-57 victory over Millikin on Saturday at the Coultas Natatorium.
The Lady Blues opened and closed the meet with relay victories. The foursome of
Jadyn Grismer,
Julie Edwards,
Jena Sellers, and
Laci O'Malley opened the day by winning the 200-yard medley relay in 2:00.84. Grismer,
Isabelle Reardon,
Abby Stevens, and O'Malley closed the meet by taking the 800-yard freestyle relay in 8:48.60
In the individual events, the trio of Grismer, Stevens, and Edwards led the way with each winning a pair of races.
Stevens took the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:52.24) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:44.08). Grismer touched the wall first in the 50-yard freestyle (25.52 seconds) and the 100-yard backstroke (1:01.67) while Edwards won the 400-yard IM (5:22.98) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:14.80).
