GRINNELL, Iowa – Illinois College's
Jadyn Grismer posted a top-five finish to highlight the second day of the 2025-26 Midwest Conference Women's Swimming Championships on Friday at the Russell K. Osgood Pool on the campus of Grinnell.
Grismer took third in the 50-yard freestyle, finishing in 24.65 seconds.
Jena Sellers also finished in the top 10 for the Lady Blues in 24.89 seconds.
IC also got a 12th-place finish from
Abby Stevens in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:23.95.
The IC foursome of Sellers, Stevens,
Laci O'Malley, and Grismer placed fifth with a 1:42.50 effort.
The Lady Blues currently sit in fifth place in the team standings after the second day of competition.
