GRINNELL, Iowa – The Illinois College women's swimming team finished sixth at the 2025-26 Midwest Conference Women's Swimming Championships, which concluded on Sunday at the Russell K. Osgood Pool on the campus of Grinnell.
The individual place winners on Sunday were led by
Jadyn Grismer, who took third in the 100-yard backstroke in a time of 59.21 seconds. She then finished sixth in the 200-yard backstroke in 2:12.00.
Abby Stevens placed fifth in the 1,650-yard freestyle with a time of 18:28.76 and took 10th in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:03.37.
Jena Sellers was seventh in the 100-yard butterfly, touching the wall in 1:01.04, and
Laci O'Malley placed ninth in the 200-yard butterfly, clocking 2:25.96.
In the relay events, the 400-yard medley relay team of Grismer,
Julie Edwards, Sellers, and O'Malley finished third in 4:11.55. The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Grismer, Stevens, O'Malley, and Sellers took fourth in 3:45.55.
