BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois College women's swimming team split a pair of duals as it opened the 2026 portion of the season on Friday at the Fort Natatorium.
The Lady Blues topped Millikin, 133-51, and fell to Illinois Wesleyan, 129-67.
Individually, IC got victories from
Abby Stevens, who touched the wall first in the 1,650-yard freestyle, posting a time of 19:37.30. The Lady Blues also had an individual win from
Jadyn Grismer, who finished first in the 100-yard freestyle, clocking a time of 56.44 seconds.
IC closed out the evening by winning the 200-yard freestyle relay. The foursome of
Jena Sellers, Stevens,
Laci O'Malley, and Grismer brought home the victory with a 1:48.08 showing.

The Lady Blues will close out the home portion of the 2025-26 season on January 31st when they host Millikin. The first race is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. inside the Coultas Natatorium.
