BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois College men's swimming team pushed its winning streak to 18 straight dual victories by taking a pair of contests at the Fort Natatorium on Friday.
The Blueboys stopped Millikin, 120-74, and topped Illinois Wesleyan, 110-66. IC's dual meet winning streak is now at 18, dating back to the 2024-25 season.
IC opened and closed the meet with a pair of relay victories.
The 200-yard medley relay squad of
Nathen Trachta,
Lucas Sullens,
Gavin Rasmusen, and
Scottie Nicotra opened the evening with a win in 1:42.95. The foursome of Trachta, Rasmusen,
John Masiliunas, and Nicotra closed out the night's festivities by winning the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:33.25.
In between the relay wins, the Blueboys had three individual winners on the night.
Cade Emerick took the 1,650-yard freestyle in 18:21.64. Nicotra touched the wall first in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:05.48. Masiliunas rounded out the individual winners for IC by clocking a 56.44-second effort in the 100-yard backstroke.

The Blueboys will close out the home portion of the 2025-26 season on January 31st when they host Millikin. The opening event is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. inside the Coultas Natatorium.
