GRINNELL, Iowa – The Illinois College men's swimming team had a pair of top 10 individual finishers on day two of the 2025-26 Midwest Conference Championships on Friday at the Russell K. Osgood Pool on the campus of Grinnell.
IC's
Scottie Nicotra took seventh in the 200-yard IM final in a time of 1:57.70. The Blueboys' other top 10 finish came from
Eli Eberle in the 50-yard freestyle final as he took eighth in 21.58 seconds.
The 200-yard freestyle team of Eberle,
Gavin Rasmusen,
Nathen Trachta, and Nicotra placed fifth by clocking a 1:27.28 performance.
In the team standings, IC is currently in fifth place after the first two days of competition.
