JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College women's swimming team swept a pair of duals on Saturday at the Coultas Natatorium.
The Lady Blues topped North Central, 162-87, and beat Beloit, 164-86. IC is now 4-2 on the season.
IC opened the day with a relay victory as the team of
Jadyn Grismer,
Claire Zell,
Jena Sellers, and
Laci O'Malley won the 200-yard medley relay in 2:01.95. The Lady Blues also closed out the meet with a relay victory with the foursome of Sellers,
Abby Stevens, O'Malley, and Grismer winning the 200-yard freestyle in 1:48.49.
Individually, IC had a trio of double winners. Stevens won the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:40.26) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:57.71) while Sellers touched the wall first in both the 50-yard breaststroke (33.24 seconds) and the 50-yard butterfly (28.91 seconds). Grismer won the 200-yard freestyle (2:10.27) and the 100-yard backstroke (1:05.03).
The Lady Blues' other victory came from O'Malley in the 100-yard butterfly (1:07.14).

The lone senior on the squad, Sellers, was honored before the start of the day's action.
