GRINNELL, Iowa – Illinois College's
Eli Eberle has been named the Midwest Conference Men's Swimming Performer of the Week, it was announced by the league today.
Eberle, a junior from Canton, Ill., won the 100-yard butterfly in 52.95 seconds and was a part of the Blueboys' 400-yard freestyle relay team that touched the wall first in 3:24.06 to help IC win the team title at the Monmouth Invitational on Saturday.
This is the second time in his IC career that Eberle has won the conference's weekly award. It is also the second time this season a member of the Blueboys has won this award, as
Lucas Sullens was honored on October 14th.
IC makes its 2025-26 home debut on Saturday when it welcomes Monmouth to the Coultas Natatorium at 1:00 p.m.
