MONMOUTH, Ill. – The Illinois College men's swimming team swamped Monmouth, 125-58, in a dual meet on Saturday at the Coultas Natatorium.
The victory improved IC to 4-0 overall and moved its dual meet winning streak to 14, which dates back to last year.
IC's 400-yard Medley Relay team of
John Masiliunas,
Ethan Norton,
Eli Eberle, and
Scottie Nicotra opened the day with a victory in 3:38.03.
Konnor Cartee then won the 1,650-yard freestyle in 20:30.82.
Lucas Sullens won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:52.46 before Nicotra took the 400-yard IM in 4:31.65.
IC got a victory from Masiliunas in the 200-yard backstroke before
Nathen Trachta took the 500-yard freestyle in 5:25.55.
The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Eberle, Trachta, Sullens, and Nicotra closed out the day with a win in 3:23.50.
