BELOIT, Wis. –
Jadyn Grismer had an outstanding weekend in helping the Illinois College women's swimming team at the Beloit Midseason Invite on Friday and Saturday at the Robert G. Nicholls Natatorium.

Grismer won the 100-yard backstroke in 1:01.01, finished second in the 50-yard freestyle in 25.39 seconds, and also took third in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:17.70. Grismer rounded out her individual efforts with a sixth-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle (58.40 seconds). She was also a part of four relay teams that finished in the top five.Â
The 400-yard medley relay squad of Grismer,
Julie Edwards,
Laci O'Malley, and
Jena Sellers finished third in the 400-yard medley relay in 4:27.21. Grismer,
Claire Zell, O'Malley, and Sellers were fourth in the 200-yard medley relay in 2:01.96. IC had two squads finish fifth as well. Sellers,
Abby Stevens, O'Malley, and Grismer in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:46.74) and the 400-yard freestyle team of Sellers, Stevens, O'Malley, and Grismer (3:56.29).
Individually, O'Malley finished second in the 200-yard butterfly in 2:31.98. Sellers finished sixth in the 50-yard freestyle (26.28) while Edwards was fifth in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:14.53) and the 400-yard IM (5:26.51).
Emma Dunsworth was also sixth in the 400-yard IM (5:59.24). Stevens rounded out the IC individual performances with a fifth-place showing in the 1,650-yard freestyle (19:57.97) and a sixth-place showing in the 500-yard freestyle (5:43.86).
