MONMOUTH, Ill. – The Illinois College women's swimming team got two victories from
Jadyn Grismer and finished third at the Monmouth Invite on Saturday at the Pepper Natatorium.
Grismer, a freshman from Woodstock, Ill., opened the day by winning the 50-yard freestyle in 25.45 seconds and then followed that with a victory in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:02.25.
The IC 200-yard medley relay team of Grismer,
Claire Zell,
Laci O'Malley, and
Abby Stevens finished third in the event, posting a time of 2:02.27.
O'Malley finished fourth in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:08.27, as did Stevens in the 500-yard freestyle, clocking a 5:50.02 effort.
