ROCK ISLAND, Ill.- The IC men's and women's track and field teams competed over the week in the Augustana Midwest Twilight Final Qualifier.
The Lady Blues traveled a lot of their throwers to compete against some impressive competition.
Elizabeth Bowns placed 11th in the shot put (41' 6.5", 12.66-meters) and 11th in the hammer throw (149' 10", 45.66-meters).
Renee Hartman represented the Lady Blues finishing tied for 16th in the shot put (37' 9.25", 11.51-meters), 18th in the discus (122' 4", 37.29-meters), and 17th in the hammer throw (140' 11", 42.96).
Gavin Raines competed on the men's side finishing sixth overall in the high jump after clearing 6' 0" (1.83-meters).
