Hodge Finishes 7th at NCAA Championships

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Illinois College's Melvin Hodge placed seventh in the hammer throw at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday at the Veterans' Memorial Field Sports Complex.

With today's finish, Hodge earns first-team All-American honors.

The senior from Moro, Ill., uncorked a throw of 58.8
9 meters (193' 2") to earn seventh place and his All-American status.

Hodge finished 10th in the weight throw at the NCAA Indoor Championships earlier this year.
