LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Illinois College track and field program will send a pair of competitors to the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships this weekend at the Veterans' Memorial Field Sports Complex.
High jumper
Riley Gardner and hammer thrower
Melvin Hodge will represent IC at the championships.
Garder will jump at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, while Hodge will throw on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

Garder earned first-team All-American honors after finishing eighth in the high jump at the 2026 NCAA Indoor Championships. Hodge was a second-team All-American honoree after a 10th-place showing in the weight throw at the indoor meet.
