Hodge Earns Top 10 Finish at NCAA Championship

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Illinois College's Melvin Hodge finished 10th in the weight throw at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships inside the Birmingham CrossPlex on Friday.

Hodge, who earned second-team All-American honors for his effort, recorded his best throw of the day on his second attempt with a toss of 18.21 meters (59' 9").
