NEW ORLEANS – The Illinois College track and field program has landed four squad members on the 2026 All-Region squad for the Indoor Track & Field season; the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced.
The IC's honorees are
Riley Gardner,
Aleese Trimingham, and
Deja Anderson on the women's team and
Melvin Hodge on the men's squad.
Gardner is a freshman from Crawfordsville, Ind., who will compete in the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Championships on Friday in the high jump. She won the Midwest Conference title in that event earlier this month.
Trimingham, a junior from Auburn, Ill., was a two-time conference champion, taking gold in the 60-meter hurdles and as a member of the 4x200-meter relay squad.
Anderson is a junior from Springfield, Ill., who was a conference champion in the long jump.
Hodge, a senior from Moro, Ill., was named the 2026 Men's Outstanding Field Performer at the Midwest Conference Indoor Championships after winning the weight throw. He will also represent IC in that event at the NCAA championships on Friday.
