JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - Illinois College Esports competed in a full slate of conference matches across multiple titles, turning in several strong performances throughout the week.
IC earned a dominant 3–0 NECC Overwatch sweep over the University of Montana, controlling the series from start to finish. The match featured big performances across the lineup, with strong elimination totals and consistent team play on every map.
The Valorant team also picked up an NECC sweep, defeating Landmark College 2–0 with convincing wins on Bind and Pearl. Illinois College rotated its lineup while maintaining control throughout the match.
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, IC split results in conference play. The Blueboys earned a 2–0 NECC sweep over Roosevelt University behind standout performances, while also dropping a closely contested MVEC matchup against Buena Vista.
Illinois College also faced tough competition in Overwatch and Rocket League against Buena Vista and Dunwoody, respectively. Despite the losses, IC remained competitive throughout both matches and picked up key game wins as conference play continued.
