Final Results
JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College women's track and field squad crowed three champions as it opened the home portion of the 2026 indoor season by hosting IC Snowbird Invite on Saturday inside King Fieldhouse.
The Lady Blues had a pair of winners in the field events.
Riley Gardner won the high jump, clearing 1.65 meters while
Delanie Teno was victorious in the weight throw with a toss of 14.32 meters.
On the track,
Aleese Trimingham broke the tape in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.13 seconds, which is the fastest time in the Midwest Conference this season.
Back in the field events, IC got a second place showing from
Kevlynn DeJaynes in the weight throw (14.22 meters), while
Natalie Hasting was third (14.20 meters), and
Kasyden Williams fourth (12.94 meters).
Deja Anderson took third in the long jump at 5.3 meters while
Fynesse Jones was fifth at 5.09 meters. In the shot put, IC had a second-place effort from
Ellie Bartling (11.02 meters) with Teno placing third (10.50 meters), and Williams finishing fourth (10.22 meters).
The track portion of the day was also highlighted by
Caroline Peters recording a PR of 5:42.45 in the 1-mile run while placing third.
Kairy Mercado-Ramos was third in the 3,000 meters in 12:31.02. Anderson was fourth in the 60-meter dash in 8.09 seconds.
McKenzie Murray took fourth in the 200 meters in 27.22 seconds, the fifth-best time in the MWC to date and Jones was fifth in 27.26 seconds.
