CHARLESTON, Ill. – Illinois College's
Riley Gardner won the high jump at the Eastern Illinois John Craft Invite on Saturday at the Lantz Indoor Fieldhouse.
Gardner, a freshman from Crawfordsville, Ind., cleared 1.69 meters to claim the title. Her mark of 1.69 is the best in the Midwest Conference to date and ranks third in all of NCAA Division III.
The Lady Blues also had
Deja Anderson competing in the long jump. The junior from Springfield, Ill., finished eighth with a leap of 4.90 meters.

The Lady Blues will make their 2026 home debut on Saturday when they host the annual IC Snowbird Invitational inside the King Field House. The meet is scheduled for a 10:00 a.m. start.
