Final Results
MONMOUTH, Ill. – Illinois College's
Adam Hernandez and
Dylan Doss each won two events to pace the IC men's track and field team at the Fighting Scot Invite on Saturday at Zorn Stadium.
Hernandez opened the day by winning the 110-meter hurdles in 15.27 seconds and then captured the 400-meter hurdles in 56.54 seconds.
Doss took titles in the 200 meters with a time of 20.85 seconds and the long jump with a leap of 6.93 meters.
IC's
Deon Rodgers took second in the shot put (14.05 meters) and third in the discus (47.87 meters).
Saul Hernandez was third in the shot (13.88 meters).
Along with
Saul Hernandez, IC's field events squad had four more third-place finishes from
Melvin Hodge in the hammer throw (50.54 meters),
Jaden Saunders in the long jump (6.53 meters),
Jacob Kollman in the triple jump (13.43 meters), and
Caden Dettmer in the pole vault (3.25 meters).
Brady Borntreger rounded out the Blueboys' top five finishes in the field events with a fifth-place showing in the javelin (44.31 meters).
IC's
Blake Larson finished fourth in the 100 meters (10.93 seconds) while Saunders was fifth (11.02 seconds).
