Final Results
APPLETON, Wis. – The Illinois College men's track and field squad won four titles and finished fourth in the team standings at the 2025 Midwest Conference Outdoor Championships on Saturday at Whiting Field on the campus of Lawrence University.
IC totaled 125 points in a tightly contested team race as the top four teams were separated by just 10.5 points. Monmouth took the title with 135.5 points.
The Blueboys' first champion of the day was the 4x100-meter relay team of
Jaden Saunders,
Adam Hernandez,
Blake Larson, and
Dylan Doss, who won in 41.78 seconds, the second-fastest time in school history.
Individually, the first Blueboy to reach the top of the podium was Hernandez, who won the 110-meter hurdles in 15.11 seconds. He also finished second in the 400-meter hurdles in 55.69 seconds, which is the second-fastest time in IC annals.
Doss continued his stellar season by winning a pair of individual titles. He won the 100 meters in 10.52 seconds and then uncorked a school-record 20.80-second performance to win the 200 meters.Â
IC also received points on the track from
Devin Boggs, who finished third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a personal-best 9:52.22, and the 4x400-meter relay team of
Drew Cushman, Saunders, Hernandez, and Doss finished fourth in 3:21.43. Larson concluded the IC point-winners on the track by finishing sixth in the 100 meters in 10.92 seconds.
The Blueboys' field events squad had five individuals score points on the day.Â
Melvin Hodge took third in the hammer throw with a toss of 51.88 meters. He was joined on the podium by
Xander Moushon (fourth in a personal-best 49.71 meters) and
Deon Rodgers (sixth with a personal-best 49.44 meters).
Hernandez was fifth in the high jump, clearing 1.86 meters, while
Jacob Kollman was sixth in the triple jump with a leap of 13.30 meters.
