Final Results
GALESBURG, Ill. – The Illinois College women's track and field squad won five event titles at the Knox Invite on Saturday on the Turner Track at Trevor Field.
Leading the list of event winners was
Aleese Trimingham, who took both the 100-meter hurdles in 15.01 seconds and the 400-meter hurdles in 1:04.55.
Kami Rhoades was victorious in the 400 meters in 1:01.07 while
Caroline Peters was the 800 meters champion with a time of 2:30.56.
Morgan Carrino finished second in the 3,000 meters (13:25.10) while Rhoades was also fourth in the 200 meters (27.80 seconds).
Patricia Rivera rounded out the top-five finishes on the track for IC with a fourth-place showing in the 400-meter hurdles (1:17.83).
In the field events, IC's
Keyleigh Thomas was third in the javelin (30.62 meters) while
Elaina Manuel was fourth (27.98 meters).
Natalie Hasting took fourth in the discus (37.94 meters) while
Leslie Earles was fifth (34.54 meters).
Up Next
IC will be back in action next Saturday when it travels to the Monmouth Invite.
