Final Results
ROCK ISLAND, Ill. –
Aleese Trimingham won a title to lead the Illinois College women's track and field squad at the Augustana Meet of Champions on Thursday and Friday at the Knowlton Outdoor Athletic Complex.
Trimingham took home the title in the 100-meter hurdles, breaking the tape in 14.74 seconds.
Trimingham, along with
Kami Rhoades,
McKenzie Murray, and
Brooke Oakley, teamed up to finish third in the 4 x 400-meter relay with a school-record time of 4:05.10.
Deja Anderson had a solid evening for IC as well. She finished fourth in the long jump with a mark of 5.35 meters and then joined Murray,
Fynesse Jones, and
Haley Garrett to take fifth in the 4 x 100-meter relay in a time of 48.58 seconds.
IC's
Maddie Benson set a school record and rounded out the top 10 finishers by taking sixth in the pole vault, clearing 3.45 meters.

The Lady Blues will split the squad next weekend. A portion of the team will compete at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa, on Friday and Saturday. Another portion of the squad will venture to Galesburg, Ill., for the Knox Invite.
