Final Results
ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Illinois College men's track and field team had a solid showing at the Augustana Meet of Champions on Thursday and Friday at the Knowlton Outdoor Athletic Complex.
IC had six top 10 finishes in the meet.
The list of top 10 place-winners for IC was led by
Dylan Doss. The sophomore finished second in the 100 meters in a time of 10.439 seconds (the winning time was 10.432). He then took third in the long jump with a mark of 7.12 meters. He also joined
Jaden Saunders,
Adam Hernandez, and
Blake Larson to place third in the 4 x 100-meter relay, clocking a time of 41.70 seconds.
Hernandez had a top-five finish of his own, taking fourth in the 110-meter hurdles in 14.86 seconds.
The Blueboys rounded out the day with a fifth-place finish in the 4 x 400-meter relay. The four-some of Doss, Saunders,
Drew Cushman, and Hernandez posted a time of 3:22.45.
IC also had a top 10 finish in the field events as
Mark Flores took eighth in the javelin with a toss of 46.43 meters.

The Blueboys will split the squad next weekend. A portion of the team will compete at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa, on Friday and Saturday. Another group will venture to Galesburg, Ill., for the Knox Invite.
