JACKSONVILLE, Ill. –
Maddie Benson established a school record to highlight the Illinois College women's track and field performance at the Hilltop Classic on Friday night at King Field House.
Benson cleared 3.52 meters in the pole vault to establish the new school standard. She finished third in the event and was the top Divison III finisher.
The Lady Blues also got top five finishes from
McKenzie Murray who was third in the 200-meter dash in 26.48 seconds.
Deja Anderson took fifth in the event with a 26.71 performance.
Aleese Trimingham finished fourth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.35 seconds.
Natalie Hasting took fifth in the weight throw with a toss of 15.02 meters.
