Downing Paces IC at NCAA Regionals

WAVERLY, Iowa – The Illinois College women's cross country team wrapped up the 2025 season at the NCAA Regionals on Saturday at the Max Cross Country Course.

Freshman Bailey Downing paced the Lady Blues. Dowing led IC and finished 147th overall in 25:59.4. Caroline Peters was close behind, placing 149th in 26:25.7

Kairy Mercado-Ramos posted a 27:27.1 effort to finish 165th. Ashley Watson was 171st (28:11.3) while Morgan Carrino took 183rd in 29:06.4. Claire Peters rounded out the IC squad, clocking a 29:28.1 to finish 189th.
