SPRINGFIELD, Ill. –
Adelie Wilson recorded a top-15 finish in her collegiate debut to pace the Illinois College women's cross country team on Friday at the Prairie Stars Invite on the UIS Cross Country Course.
Wilson, a freshman from Nashville, Ill., finished 14th in 20:54.44. Classmate
Sophie Helfrich was 22nd in 21:34.54. The Lady Blues also had top-30 finishes from
Samantha Costello (27th in 22:05.54) and
Emma Wyman (30th in 22:28.61).
IC's
Izzy Wellenreiter took 36th with a time of 24:03.94, while
Ashley Watson was 38th in 24:26.94.
Emily Arens was 43rd overall in 25:25.12.

The Lady Blues return to action on September 18th when they compete at the Bradley Intercollegiate in Peoria, Ill. Race time is scheduled for 5:15 p.m.
