LITCHFIELD, Ill. – Illinois College women's cross country team members
Bailey Downing and
Caroline Peters posted milestone times as the Lady Blues as a team finished fourth at the Greenville Classic on Friday.
Downing finished first for IC and eighth overall in 20:18.27 while Peters was 12th overall in 20:35.91. Those times represent the sixth (Downing) and seventh (Peters) best times in IC women's cross country history for a 5,000-meter course.
IC also got a 21st-place finish from
Kairy Mercado-Ramos, who finished in 21:43.00.
Ashley Watson took 24th in 22:10.40, while
Claire Peters was 28th in 22:34.41.
Morgan Carrino finished up for the Lady Blues, taking 41st in 23:26.28.
