Blueboys Land Three on Midwest Conference Postseason Honors Team

GRINNELL, Iowa – The Illinois College men's soccer team landed a trio of players on the All-Midwest Conference postseason teams, the league announced today.

IC's Tyler Lunning was named to the first team as an attacker, while Jives Efemini and Jacob Pelletier were both picked for the second team as defenders.

Lunning, a senior from St. Louis, Mo., led the Blueboys with eight goals and 17 points. He also had a team-high 47 shots, including 24 on goal. Lunning finished his career second all-time in IC history with 26 goals and 57 points. His 116 career shots also rank fourth in school history.

Efemini is a junior from Marietta, Ga., who started all 16 contests in 2025. He scored one goal while patrolling the back end for the Blueboys. Pelletier, a senior from Cumming, Ga., made 14 appearances with 13 starts in 2025. He tallied one assist on the season. Both Efemini and Pelletier helped the IC defense set a school record for fewest goals allowed in a season with 13.

The Blueboys finished the 2025 campaign with an 8-3-5 overall record, including a 3-2-3 slate in conference action.
