MONMOUTH, Ill. – The Illinois College men's soccer team posted a goal just over three minutes into the match and made it stand for a 1-0 win over Monmouth in a Midwest Conference match on Wednesday afternoon at Peacock Memorial Athletic Park.
IC improved to 7-3-4 overall and an even 2-2-2 in conference action. Monmouth is now 3-6-3 and 0-4-1.

The Blueboys' lone tally of the match came at the 3:17 mark when
J'aiden Cranwell-Meneses buried a shot into the net off assists from
Trevor Fallico and
Jason Hernandez.
That would be all the scoring IC would need as
Daniel Happach posted a shutout in goal with five saves.
IC took 17 shots in the match to Monmouth's 12.
Jacob Pelletier's four shots led the Blueboys, while
Oscar Liogon Arenas,
Tyler Lunning, and Cranwell-Meneses each had a pair.

Over the past three seasons, the Blueboys are now 14-4-4 in Midwest Conference action.
