GRINNELL, Iowa – Illinois College scored on a penalty kick with under a minute left to forge a 1-1 draw with Grinnell in a Midwest Conference men's soccer match on Saturday at Springer Field.
IC improved to 7-3-5 overall and 2-2-3 in conference action. Grinnell is now 4-6-5 and 3-1-2.

The teams battled to a scoreless standoff for much of the match. Grinnell got on the board first at the 77:45 mark. The Blueboys were able to tie the contest when
Carter Uhlmann buried a penalty kick into the upper right corner of the goal with just 35 seconds remaining.
Both teams took 10 shots on the day. IC got three from
J'aiden Cranwell-Meneses and two from
Tyler Lunning.
Daniel Happach posted a save in goal.
