GRINNELL, Iowa – Illinois College's
Drake Stuart has been named the Midwest Conference Defensive Performer of the Week, the league announced today.
Stuart, a senior linebacker from Greenfield, Ill., filled the entire defensive stat sheet while leading IC to its second shutout in the past four games and limiting Ripon to 122 yards in Saturday's 31-0 victory over the Red Hawks. Stuart had seven tackles, including a tackle for loss and a sack. He also added a forced fumble, an interception, and a pass breakup on the day.
The Blueboys close out the home portion of the 2025 season when they host Grinnell on Saturday for Senior Day. Kickoff is at 1:00 p.m.
