JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College clay target squad concluded the regular season portion of the fall campaign ranked among the leaders in the USA Clay Target League, it was announced today.
IC held onto second place in team in the team skeet category with a total of 475.5. IC finished third in the league in both trap and sporting clays. In trap, IC posted a five-week total of 2,495 and had a 410 total in sporting clays.
As she has for the past four weeks, IC's
Ann Feldhake leads all females in trap with an average of 24.3.
Aurora Baker is fourth in trap (22.9), while
Morgan Tracey is fifth (22.8), and
Hannah Hopper is sixth (22.7).
Korina Hecht is now ninth at 21.6, and
Reece Winebrinner cracked the top 10 with an average of 21.4.
On the men's trap list,
Adam Stuckemeyer is second with a 24.1 average.
Hopper is tied for third overall and second among females in skeet with an average of 23.3. Hecht (fourth – 20.7), Feldhake (fifth – 20.2), Winebrinner (sixth – 19), and Tracey (ninth – 16.1) are also ranked in the female category.
In the women's sporting clays, Hopper remains in third in the league at 42.8, with Hecht staying in sixth (39.4). Feldhake holds on to seventh (35.2) while Winebrinner continues to be in eighth (34.2).
On the men's side,
Andrew Magnus and Stuckemeyer are currently tied for seventh with an average of 42.
IC will travel to Bunker Hill, Ill., this weekend for the annual National Championships. Competition begins on Friday and runs through Sunday.
