JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – Illinois College's
Hannah Hopper leads the nation in skeet after the first week of competition, according to USA Clay Target.
Hopper, a freshman from Chatham, Ill., posted a perfect skeet score of 25.00 in the opening competition last week. IC's
Korina Hecht is currently third nationally with a 21.50 total. That duo also has the top two scores in the USA Clay Target League.
In other conference rankings,
Ann Feldhake is tied for sixth among females in trap with a 23.00 total, while
Adam Stuckemeyer is eighth among males in skeet after posting a 21.50 total in week one.
As a team, IC is second in the conference in the team skeet standings (138.00), third in sporting clays at 69.50, and fourth in trap with a 552.50.
