JACKSONVILLE, Ill. –
Deja Anderson and
Maddie Benson had record days to highlight the Illinois College women's track and field squad's performance at the IC Snowbird Open on Saturday at King Field House.
Anderson won the long jump with a personal best leap of 5.44 meters which is also the fifth-best mark in school history. Benson set a school record in the pole vault, clearing 3.35 meters.
The Lady Blues also got top-five finishes from
Brooke Oakley in the 400-meter dash, crossing the finish line in 1:02.25 to take fourth.
Haley Garrett took fifth in the 200-meter dash, clocking a 26.97 performance.

The Lady Blues will hit the road next Saturday for the Grinnell Invitational in Grinnell, Iowa. The meet will begin at 10:00 a.m.
