GRINNELL, Iowa -- Illinois College's
Destin Chance has been named the Midwest Conference Offensive Performer of the Week, the league announced today.
Chance, a senior quarterback from Auburn, Ill., was 22-for-37 for 327 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed 10 times for 86 yards and scored a pair of touchdowns in the 50-37 win over the University of Chicago on Saturday. Chance generated 413 yards of total offense on the night. His TD passes went for 57, 71, 38, and 7 yards while his touchdown runs were 38 yards and 1 yard.
This is the second time this season Chance has won the award. He earned the honor on September 9th as well.
IC is now 3-2 overall and 2-2 in the Midwest Conference. The Blueboys travel to Knox on Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff.Â
