DECATUR, Ill.- The Illinois College men's and women's track & field teams traveled to compete at Millikin University over the weekend. The men's team placed fourth overall and the women's team placed fifth overall.
The Lady Blues were led by
Sydney Kuper placing first in the discus throw with a mark of 34.67 meters. Kuper also placed fourth in the hammer throw with a mark of 40.50 meters. Other standout performers included
Kristina Hilmes placing second in the 100-meter hurdles (16.28) and the 400-meter hurdles (1:11.95).
The Blueboys were led by
Xander Moushon placing third in the hammer throw with a mark of 41.93 meters.
Deon Rodgers also had an impressive day placing third in the shot put (12.61 meters), fourth in the hammer throw (39.05 meters), and fourth in the discus (39.96 meters).
Both teams will return to action hosting their home meet on Friday, 4/7 at 11:00 AM.
