NAPERVILLE, Ill.- The Illinois College men's and women's track and field teams competed at North Central College in the Gregory Invitational on Wednesday and Thursday.
The Lady Blues earned five top five finishes. The 4x100-meter relay team of
Kayla Hearon,
Lakeida Nichols,
Olivia Molette, and
Andrea Hyde were able to claim first place with a time of 48.21. Hyde would go on to finish first in the 200-meter dash (24.88) and second in the 100-meter dash (12.00).
In the field events, Molette would earn a third place finish in the long jump with a mark of 5.79-meters (19' 00").
Elizabeth Bowns represented the throwers in some tough competition with a fourth place finish in the shot put earning a mark of 12.44 meters (40' 9.75").
On the men's side,
Gavin Raines finished sixth in the high jump with a mark of 1.86-meters (6' 1.25").
