FAYETTE, Mo.- The Illinois College men's and women's track teams began their outdoor season on Saturday, 3/20 at the Central Methodist University Open.
The Lady Blues were able to showcase their talent in a very competitive meet.
Elizabeth Bowns was able to grasp a seventh place finish in the hammer throw with a mark of 43.14 meters.
Renee Hartman would place fourth overall in the shot put with a mark of 11.82 meters.
Kristina Hilmes would also score for the Lady Blues in the 400-meter hurdles placing sixth with a time of 1:10.89.
The Lady Blues finished 13th overall out of 16 teams at the meet. The men's track and field team faced incredible competition finishing 19th out of 19 teams.Â
Illinois College will compete next in the Wash U Mini Meet at Washington University in St. Louis on Saturday, 3/27.Â
