JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College volleyball squad split a pair of matches during Saturday's action of the Lady Blue Challenge inside Sherman Gymnasium.
IC topped Loras 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-16) and then dropped a 3-0 (25-23, 25-20, 25-23) decision to Mount St. Joseph in the final match of the day. The split moved IC to 2-2 overall.

The Lady Blues opened the day with a solid 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-16) victory over Loras. IC was led by
Delani Klaas, who posted a match-high 18 kills with a .515 hitting percentage.
Mady Salisbury led the defense with 10 digs while
Kennedy Ostendorf dished out a match-best 34 assists.

This was a nip-and-tuck contest all day, with all three sets tight. Once again, Klaas was IC's offensive standout, recording a match-high 10 kills. She also helped the defense with 12 digs. Salisbury recorded a match-high 16 digs for the Lady Blues.
Liv Cox handed out 19 assists while Ostendorf added 14.

IC will hit the road for the first time this season on Saturday when it travels to the Viking Classic hosted by Augustana in Rock Island, Ill. The Lady Blues will face Augustana at Noon and Wisconsin-Stevens Point at 2:00 p.m.
