HANOVER, Ind. – The Illinois College volleyball team posted its third straight win with a 3-1 victory over Blackburn in the opening match of the Hanover Invitational on Friday inside Collier Arena.

The Lady Blues won the match, 24-26, 25-14, 25-23, 25-16.

With the victory, IC is now 5-3, while Blackburn dropped to 3-7.

After a tight first set that saw Blackburn outlast IC in extra points, the Lady Blues roared back to sweep the next three sets and claim the victory.

IC's offense was led by a trio of hitters who racked up double-digit kill totals, with Elliana Huckstep leading with 18 kills and hitting .484 for the match. Delani Klaas added 14 kills and 10 digs to the victory while Riley Drake had 13 kills and 17 digs.

The Lady Blues' Mady Salisbury had a team-high 21 digs from her libero position while Kennedy Ostendorf dished out a match-high 45 assists.
