HANOVER, Ind. – The Illinois College volleyball team split its Saturday matches at the Hanover Invitational inside Collier Arena.

IC opened the day by dropping a 3-1 decision to Muskingum and then bounced back to post a 3-1 victory over Capital in the afternoon session.

With the split, IC is now 6-4 and has won four of its last five.

Muskingum 3 IC 1 (28-26, 17-25, 25-22, 27-25)
Aside from the second set, in which IC won 25-17, this match was a nip-and-tuck affair the entire time. Muskingum won two of the three sets by getting extra points and won the third set by just three.

The Lady Blues had a trio of players record double-doubles. Delani Klaas had 16 kills and 15 digs. Riley Drake added 14 kills and 10 digs while Kennedy Ostendorf dished out 26 assists and collected 10 digs.

IC's Mady Salisbury had a match-high 28 digs from her libero spot.

IC 3 Capital 1 (25-23, 22-25, 25-18, 25-19)
Much like the morning match, this was tightly contested in the opening two sets as well, but then the Lady Blues convincingly won the final two sets to earn the victory.

Elliana Huckstep led a balanced IC offense with 14 kills. Angelina Rogers added 10 kills as well. For the second time on the day, Salisbury had a match-high in digs with 13 while Ostendorf handed out 29 assists.
