WEBSTER GROVES, Mo. – The Illinois College volleyball team posted its second straight win with a four-set victory at Webster on Tuesday at Grant Gymnasium.
The Lady Blues took the match by scores of 27-25, 25-22, 22-25, 25-18.
With the victory, IC is now 4-3 while Webster dropped to 4-6.

The Lady Blues outlasted the Gorlocks in the opening set, needing extra points to win 27-25. IC then used that momentum to take the second set, 25-22, in another tightly contested contest. After Webster squeaked out the third set in another tight match-up, 25-22, IC stormed to victory by rolling to a 25-18 win in the fourth set and the match.
IC was led by
Delani Klaas, who posted team highs of 17 kills and 16 digs.
Angelina Rogers added additional offensive punch for IC, recording 16 kills.
Josie Hoagland aided the defensive effort with 13 digs.
Kennedy Ostendorf had a solid night from her setter position, handing out 39 assists while also recording 12 digs and a team-best four aces.

The Lady Blues will spend the weekend in Hanover, Ind., for the Hanover Invitational. IC will face Blackburn on Friday at 7:00 p.m. before facing Muskingum at 10:00 a.m. and Capital at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
