SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - The Illinois College men's golf team opened play at the Blueboy Invite with a team score of 310 at The Rail Golf Course, sitting in a tie for seventh place after the first round.
Myles Kampwerth and Teddy Walbaum paced Illinois College in the opening round, each carding a 77 (+5) to lead the way. Emmitt Brokaw and AJ Odle rounded out the scoring four with matching rounds of 78 (+6).
Drake Bartos also competed for IC, finishing with an 84 (+12). Isaac Anderson and Ian Otto each posted rounds of 87 (+15), while Zach Diekemper recorded a 90 (+18).
Head Coach Jay Rowell also recognized his three seniors, Isaac Anderson, Emmitt Brokaw, and Myles Kampwerth, following the round while celebrating their careers at IC.
