SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - The Illinois College men's golf team wrapped up play at the Blueboy Invite on Friday, finishing in a tie for ninth place out of 14 teams after posting a two-day total of 630 at The Rail Golf Course.
The Blueboys followed up their opening-round 310 with a 320 in the final round.
Myles Kampwerth led Illinois College on day two with a 74 (+2), turning in the lowest round of the weekend for IC. Emmitt Brokaw added a 79 (+7), while Teddy Walbaum recorded an 80 (+8) to round out three of the counting scores.
Drake Bartos completed the scoring four with an 87 (+15)Â in the final round, as Illinois College's team score was determined by Kampwerth, Brokaw, Walbaum, and Bartos.
AJ Odle also competed in the team lineup and carded an 87 (+15).
Competing as individuals, Ian Otto posted a strong 77 (+5), while Isaac Anderson finished with an 80 (+8) and Zach Diekemper recorded an 83 (+11).Â
Over the two-day event, Kampwerth led the Blueboys with a 36-hole total of 151 finishing in 21st place, while Walbaum followed closely with a 157. Brokaw finished at 157 as well, with Odle totaling 165 and Bartos at 171.
